      Swimwear Aftercare Tips

      Hand Wash Only
To preserve the integrity of the fabric and the hand-sewn details, always hand wash your metallic swimwear. Use cold water and a gentle, eco-friendly detergent to protect both the fabric and the environment. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach that could damage the shine or the stitching.

      Avoid the Dryer
Never put your metallic swimwear in the dryer. The heat can weaken the material and affect the shine. Instead, lay the swimwear flat on a towel to air dry naturally. This will help maintain its shape and metallic finish without compromising the fabric’s quality.

      Use a Laundry Bag
To protect the delicate hand-sewn seams and metallic fabric from friction, place your swimwear in a mesh laundry bag before washing. This will prevent snags and damage, especially when washing with other items.

      Rinse After Each Use
Always rinse your metallic swimwear with cold water after each swim, especially after being in chlorine or saltwater. Salt and chlorine can cause the fabric to degrade over time. Quick rinsing helps preserve the material and the shine.

      Store Properly
Avoid hanging your metallic swimwear by straps or seams, as this can distort its shape. Instead, store it flat or gently folded in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Sun exposure can cause fading and damage to both the metallic fabric and hand-sewn details.

Avoid Contact with Oils and Lotions
Keep oils, lotions, and sunscreen away from your swimwear to prevent staining or material breakdown. If they come into contact with the fabric, rinse immediately with cool water to remove any residue.

      Spot Clean When Necessary
For small stains or dirt, spot clean your swimwear using a mild, eco-friendly detergent and a soft cloth. Gently dab the area and rinse with cool water to prevent any damage to the fabric.

      Refrain from Excessive Stretching
Metallic swimwear can sometimes lose its shine or shape when overstretched. Avoid excessive pulling or wringing when handling or drying your swimwear to maintain its structural integrity and glossy finish.

By following these eco-friendly care tips, you'll help extend the life of your hand-sewn metallic swimwear, keep it looking shiny and vibrant, and reduce your environmental impact.
